The Shock Top-Cap Lock-Nut Wrench is required for the installation and removal of the McLeod and Mara IL top cap.  The slotted hex slides over the main shaft and allows the jam nut to be tightened or loosened.  The 3/8” drive allows the use of a torque wrench for properly assembly.
